This Workshop includes teaching and art journaling. The art is easy-peasy, and women of all skill levels will find it rewarding.
The topic is The Journey each woman takes from childhood to adulthood. This includes peeling away the untruths we have accumulated, looking at some of the stories we tell ourselves, helping remember who we are in God’s eyes, and living from that place of truth, worthiness, and authenticity.
This workshop is geared toward Christian women ages 18 and up, married, single, divorced, in healthy or complicated relationships. It includes Scripture in an easy-to-grasp, nonjargon-y approach. We will talk about the Journey each woman takes in her life. Each “leg” of the journey will include a fun teaching time, then some reflective time writing in our journals, then creating some art that you will be able to take home with you and use as reminders and guideposts for your future journeys.

About Me
Speaking about life as a writer, artist, teacher for over 15 years
Artist, Author, Storyteller, Teacher. Biological mom to 1, adoptive mom to 2, foster mom to 18. Introverted, yet spunky. Wife to an extroverted and hilarious man for over 28 years.
Knows way too much about infertility, prodigal children, childhood trauma, standing in your truth, trusting God in the dark, women in ministry, creating community, doing hard things, starting over, choosing to forgive, and speaking from a scar instead of a wound.
I earnestly want my writing and teaching to give others wings to discover their voice and soar using non-jargony Biblical principles, storytelling and humor.

I've taught at colleges, churches, retreats. I am an author, an artist, a wife. I'm a foster mother and adoptive mother. I've survived childhood trauma, suicide, infertility, aging parents, babies, toddlers, tweens, teens, college students, and a prodigal child. I'm an introvert, a business owner, and a solopreneur.
I'm passionate about helping women find their voice, their place in the world, and their dignity as a wife and mom. Life is short. Life is sometimes hard and sometimes hysterical. I try to find the balance, always remembering the truths taught in the Bible as my anchor and True North.
